About eMCP, LLC
eMCP was formed in 2015 to reverse the negative trend in vertical transportation maintenance and to give equipment owners the ability to monitor their equipment maintenance and costs. Read on to learn the eMCP company profile and leadership.
John Koshak, Daniel Swett, and Ken Smith are the principal members of eMCP, LLC. All three are veterans of the vertical transportation industry with experience in maintenance, inspection, design, installation, codes, repair, and litigation.
eMCP is being used by Owners, Universities, Governments, Consultants, and Contractors. It has led to better bidding processes, improved maintenance, and a large reduction in callbacks in many units
What eMCP Provides
eMCP LLC provides an electronic Maintenance Control Program for vertical transportation required by the A17.1/B44 Safety Code for Elevators, Escalators, Moving Walks, and Dumbwaiters. The adoption of the A17.1/B44 codes in all the jurisdictions in the US and Canada requires an MCP be provided for every unit by statute or regulation. eMCP LLC is an internet-based software system that inputs technical data for each individual unit, analyzes the technical data, and provides unit specific Code compliant maintenance procedures to be performed at proper maintenance intervals. This patent pending system is now used in more than 2,500 units and growing daily.
Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ's) are requiring maintenance records that today, unfortunately, are not available, lack information, and are not compliant; you may have experienced this in the form of AHJ violations after an inspection. eMCP assures record availability; from code-compliant maintenance documentation, to callbacks, repair, alteration, and test records. It then provides real-time monitoring of these maintenance activities required by AHJ's. If a request comes in, many records are simply downloaded as CSV or PDF files for emailing or printing.
Experience and Results
With the experience of the principal members of eMCP LLC, we provide a fully compliant MCP that, when followed, will assure an increase in quality of maintenance, a decrease in callbacks, downtime, and decreases in number and severity of incidents. Most importantly, it will extend the life of the equipment, improve user experience, and reduce overall costs.
These are not just promises, eMCP has been used since June of 2016 at a major University with 590 units. These results are real and documented. eMCP has a proven track record and acceptance in the industry, let us show how you can improve your vertical transportation with the same results.
